An Efficient Lightweight Mutual Authentication and Key Exchange Protocol for Roaming Vehicle

چکیده
Intelligent vehicles and their infrastructure have been a booming topic that requires attention towards grooming security services providing safe-secure drive experience to users worldwide. Authentication of these within away from the home network plays an essential role in maintaining seamless service access, especially for moving network. Traditional schemes are centralized primarily focus on vehicle authentication Very few studies conducted during roaming. The trusted authority (TA) must authenticate its along with one roaming, which increases communication computational load TA as scalability increases. This article presents lightweight scheme, roaming vehicles, focuses sharing load. A vehicle, (HTA) identity, sends request nearby roadside unit (RSU) After receiving RSU, foreign (FTA) connects HTA. Vehicle authenticity was confirmed session key generated ensuring access. proposed scheme tested against standard BAN logic prove it meets required standards requirements. Furthermore, computation cost analysis proves this is compared other traditional schemes. Security can successfully prevent major attacks, such anonymity, unlinkability, replay attack, message tampering, malicious tracking.

A Self-certified Mechanism for Mutual Authentication and Key Exchange in Roaming Services
In this paper, a novel mutual authentication and key exchange protocol based on self-certified mechanism is proposed for roaming services in the global mobility network (GLOMONET). The main new features of the proposed protocol include identity anonymity, one-time session key renewal, and distributed security management scheme. Identity anonymity protects location privacy of mobile users in the...
متن کاملMutual Authentication and Key Exchange Protocols with Anonymity Property for Roaming Services
Two novel mutual authentication and key exchange protocols with anonymity are proposed for different roaming scenarios in the global mobility network (GLOMONET). The proposed protocols have new features, such as identity anonymity and one-time session key progression. Identity anonymity protects mobile users’ privacy in the roaming network environment. One-time session key progression frequentl...
متن کاملEfficient Mutual Authentication and Key Agreement with User Anonymity for Roaming Services in Global Mobility Networks
Global mobility networks provide effective global roaming services for personal communication users. Through the universal roaming technology, legitimate mobile users can enjoy the ubiquitous services. Mutual authentication and key agreement between mobile users and roaming servers is the primary security issue of many commercial mobile networks. For personal privacy, it becomes an important is...
متن کاملA TESLA-based mutual authentication protocol for GSM networks
The widespread use of wireless cellular networks has made security an ever increasing concern. GSM is the most popular wireless cellular standard, but security is an issue. The most critical weakness in the GSM protocol is the use of one-way entity authentication, i.e., only the mobile station is authenticated by the network. This creates many security problems including vulnerability against m...
متن کاملPassword Based Key Exchange with Mutual Authentication
A reasonably efficient password based key exchange (KE) protocol with provable security without random oracle was recently proposed by Katz, et al. [18] and later by Gennaro and Lindell [13]. However, these protocols do not support mutual authentication (MA). The authors explained that this could be achieved by adding an additional flow. But then this protocol turns out to be 4-round. As it is ...
